Marva Beck represents the 57th House District of Texas. Marva Beck is a freshman legislator, ousting Democrat incumbent Jim Dunnam in the 2010 Elections.

Marva Beck grew up in the tough neighborhoods of the fifth ward of Houston, Texas where she attended San Jacinto High School. Her career has included working for AT&T, ranching and being a full-time wife and mother.

Marva married Mel Beck in 1970. Mel was a water treatment plant contractor. Marva spent many years working with Mel in their business and then on their ranch. They bought their ranch in Leon County near Centerville in 1979, and made it their permanent home in 1991.

Bill Callegari has resided in the Katy area and been a businessman in the Houston area for more than 30 years.
